Steel Fibers
Steel Fibers offer an alternative to traditional wire mesh or rebar reinforcing. Because steel fibers are mixed in with the concrete you save the time and money of laying out wire mesh or tying rebar, yet still reaching the required strength specifications. VLCS has in stock thousands of pounds of fibers in 1" or 2" lengths. Look at the chart below to figure the required pounds of fibers per yard to reach the strength equivalent you're looking for. Steel fibers are packaged in 50lb bags so they are easy to handle and measure.
